Dr.
Sullivan completed his undergraduate studies at the University
of Pennsylvania and then served in Vietnam with the Marine
Corps where he was awarded a Bronze Star medal with a combat
V. He then attended the Veterinary school at Cornell University
where he concentrated on Feline Medicine. He has now been
tending solely to cats for the last twenty years.
Dr. Eric Dougherty has been the primary associate veterinarian for the Cat Practice since February. He graduated from Ross University in 2010, where he was awarded the Stanley M. Dennis scholarship. He then went on to complete his clinical rotation at Iowa State University, and is now happy to be back home in bustling New York. His interests in veterinary medicine include endocrine diseases and renal disease. Dr. Dougherty was born and raised in Brooklyn and is a huge New York Rangers and Mets fan. His other outside interests include playing sports, fine wine, and spending time with his friends and family. Dr. Dougherty currently sees appointments Monday – Thursday, and works along with Dr. Skip Sullivan on Saturdays
