Office Manager
Sonya has been with us for 13 years. During this time she has advanced from Client Manager to Office Manage while putting two daughters through college. Her efficiency in running the practice is only surpassed by her close relationship with our clients. Whenever there is a moment to spare she can be found snuggling and ‘talking’ to the cats. She pays special attention to our really sick patients and has been a ‘foster mother’ to many of our strays.
Head Technician and Hospital Manager
Gill Nunes is our Head Technician with over ten years experience. He has been with The Cat Practice for over five years. Having been born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil he brings an ease and mellow attitude to his position. He is also a confirmed ‘Cat Aficionado’ and shares his home with 13 rescued felines. When Gill is not working he enjoys world travel and learning new languages.
Office Maintenance Supervisor, Groomer and Assistant Technician
Louis has been with the Cat Practice for over five years and pays special attention to our Cats Only Boarding area. Due to this special attention he understands each cats needs and behavior while they are away from home. It is the rare exception that a visiting feline does not end up caring for Louis. He is a master of the ‘Lion Cut’ and other grooming services. As an assistant technician he provides valuable support to the Doctors and technicians.
Veterinary Technician
Cathy has been with the Cat Practice family for more than six years, From the time she started working with us, as a college freshman, she knew what her career path would be. As a biochemistry major she was accepted to Ross University of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. While she is deciding the next step in her veterinary career we are lucky enough to have her as one of our senior technicians. She is most interested in anesthesiology and emergency medicine. Besides Veterinary medicine she loves playing tennis and going to the beach.
